If you didn’t remember what I wrote when I did the write up on the first AVENGERS teaser (click here) I said I loved what I saw, but I can’t wait to see “THE REALLY BIG CRAZY ACTION SHIT”. Well…..

What a fanboy rush of geek greatness we got here.

For me, the most exciting thing about The Avengers (besides the team up element of course) is the fact that Director/Writer Joss Whedon is proving his worth as a big budgeted filmmaker.

Truth be told, Joss Whedon has been one of my biggest influences/creative heroes for years. I’ve been a fan of the man since 1996, and watching this footage, seeing the excitement from everybody, I’m happy for the guy.

For hardcore Joss Whedon fans it’s like being a parent and Whedon is your kid graduating college. Your just so proud of him.

I expect one more theatrical trailer (hopefully one in which Hawkeye talks) before the film comes out.

May 4, 2012 still feels so far away!
