Joe Orsak & Jeff Hartz

This time we interview artist Joe Orsak, a Syracuse native and longtime contributor to the comics field in Central New York.

As a cartoonist and fantasy artist, Joe is the creator of Captain ‘Cuse a decades long Syracuse newspaper comic strip, co-creator of the comic strip SALT CITY, featuring SHIRRA THE SHE-WOLF.  The strip ran in the SYRACUSE NEW TIMES in 2008. His graphic novel, Yellow Rose Of Texas, was published by McFarland & Co. And in his other identity as a sports illustrator, Joe created the current mascot for the Syracuse Crunch hockey team.
