The First Two In Line At “Amazing”

So when the midnight premeire of “The Amazing Spider-Man” was announced, Dante had the great idea of having About Heroes East Coast do something for it. So we talked to Angie at The New Hartford Orchard 14 Marquee Cinema, and she welcomed the idea of doing something for the people who were going to see the film.

Then we spoke to Janine at Ravenswood Comics, who offered up twenty-five $5.00 gift certificates, and took the time to bag up some Spider-Man comic two-packs to give away, each pack also containing a coupon for 15 percent off the MANY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS worth of merchandise in the store. She also provided a store T-shirt to promote the business.

And at the last minute, Jeff Watkins at Cloud City Comics (who normally does his own giveaway at the cinema in Syracuse) was awesome enough to pass out two hardcover Spider-Man books for us to present to the first person in each theatre line.
