Later today at San Diego Comic Con they will be announcing the DVD release of the classic and much beloved 1970s Staurday Morning TV Series “SHAZAM!”.

This WAS the show that made me a fan of super-heroes. Yes, it was cheesy. Yes, it was aimed at kids. But I WAS a kid when this show came out. Sue me!

Michael Gray is scheduled to be on-hand at SDCC when they announce the release of the complete series on The Warner Archive Website. I’ve been watching the site for days, and this morning they finally posted the pre-order option for it. You can go to the site and order it here.

(UPDATE: The price for the whole series looks to be under $40.00 and it’s due to be released in September.)
